A BMC wash kit is a necessity with the purchase of a BMC air filter. Although BMC air filters never need replaced, they do need to be recharged every 15,000 miles. The BMC wash kit makes your BMC air filter brand new again through a washing and re-oiling procedure. The filter rejuvenation is a simple 5 step process. Below is a brief description of each step.
Step 1. Open the air box and remove the filter.
Step 2. Gently tap the filter to remove any dirt or debris.
Step 3. Pour the BMC Detergent over the entire surface of the filter. Let sit 20 minutes.
Step 4. Rinse the filter with cold water. Let the filter dry naturally.
Step 5. Using the liquid oil, cover the surface of the filter.
